Jericho Road Food Shelf
At one point, Jericho Road Ministries was able to obtain over 18,000 pounds (that is over 9 tons) of food for about $100, which is what it cost to rent the truck to pick up the food. This is just to illustrate and make more real to you the value and power of your gift. We try hard to steward well the scarce financial resources that are available.
Produce Distribution
The Produce Distribution program has switched from Friday to Thursday beginning June 15, 2023. Between 150 and 250 area residents come to pickup a variety of fresh food which is available on that day. Food distributed includes all types of produce and other foods which are not readily available during the week.
Job Coaching
Staff and volunteers are available for job coaching. Support in acquiring birth certificates, state I.D.'s and transportation is also available. If you or someone you know is in need of help in their job search, please call Jeffery Noyed at (612) 455-1193.
Community Garden
Gardens of Praise Ministries is an urban agricultural development project that strives to go beyond reconnecting urban people with nature to reconnecting them with their Creator and to bring the knowledge of how to produce your own food in the city through holistic farming experiences.

Shoe Bus
Providing new or slightly used shoes for a minimal cost to those in need. The shoe bus came to Jericho Road Ministries on Thursday, August 17th, 2023. Shoes cost between $2 and $5 dollars. Prices are suggested donation amounts but are not required. Exceptions are made based on need. 125 pairs were sold at an average of $2.86 per pair during this last visit to Jericho Road Ministries. 235 pairs of shoes were sold in 2022
Health Clinic
Each year in November Jericho Road Ministries sponsors a Health Clinic provided by the clinic staff of Fairview Hospital and the U of M. Flu/Covid shots are provided along with tests for blood pressure and diabetes. The next Flu clinic will by held on November 16, 2023 from 9-11AM

Backpack distribution
Backpack distribution to students prior to the beginning of a new school year. Forty-eight backpacks/$25 Gift cards were distributed in August 24, 2023. This was done in partnership with Hillside, Glory Baptist Church, CRU and others.
Thanksgiving Food Distribution
200 - 300 turkeys will be provided to families on November, 2022. Additional thanksgiving food will be provided along with the turkeys
Jericho Road Labels
Attached you will find a label format in PDF form which can be printed on Avery label paper #5161. Avery labels can be obtained at Office Max or Staples. Click on the blue title below and the label sheet will appear for printing. The printed adhesive backed labels can be attached to nutrition bars and other food items and be handed out to people on street corners who are asking for help. This label gives them a source where they can go and get additional help. A copy of the label is shown below.
